How to Scroll in GNU Screen

GNU Screen is very useful, but sometimes you just want to see what has scrolled outside of the view buffer.

So, how do you scroll in screen?

Press Ctrl A and then [ or Esc

You are now in copy mode.

Scroll Up ↑ or Down ↓, or use PgUp ↟, PgDn ↡

To exit copy mode press ] or Esc

To copy text, while in copy mode, move the cursor to the position where you want to start to copy, and press Enter.
