Factory Reset TP Link WA850RE N300 Wifi Range Extender

  • Find the Reset pin hole button
  • Press it in for 5 seconds until all the blue ring lights up. The lights will then switch off and the factory reset will begin over the next few seconds.
  • Connect to the new SSID TP-Link_Extender that now appears in your list. of available Wifis. Note that it is not secured. You don’t need a password to connect to it. Also note the other SSID with the poorer signal. This is the Wifi network that I want to extend.
  • Once connected press the ⓘ
  • Check the router address. It will probably be 192.168.0.254
    Open a browser and visit this address.
